The Liu Ming-chuan Tunnel, located in the Shiqiuling area of Keelung, is an important relic of Taiwan's Qing Dynasty railway system and one of the oldest surviving railway tunnels in Taiwan. Built under the initiative of Qing governor Liu Ming-chuan, the tunnel bears witness to the development of modern transportation in Taiwan. Its well-preserved brick structure and peaceful surroundings make it a valuable site for both historical education and cultural preservation.
