Welcome to Kakicevungan, which in Paiwan language means a place to salute. Every day, a blessing ritual is performed to welcome the arrival of our visitors.
In this area, there is an Indigenous Cultural Museum that displays artifacts from the traditional life and wisdom of the indigenous peoples. In the Audio-Visual Room, a brief introduction of the park, the lifestyle and culture of the indigenous peoples in the past, present, and future are presented through short films. The Art & Craft Alley exhibits exquisite indigenous handicrafts and merchandise, while the Octagonal Exhibition Hall offers an exclusive space to display contemporary indigenous artworks.
Salute Ritual:

The Colours of Foreign Land
Artist: Reretan Pavavaljung /Paiwan
2019
Since the emergence of the Industrial Revolution, the urbanization process that has spread across the world has neatly re-arranged our lives, making the worldview more and more "accurate".
Before receiving national education, Reretan has always liked to cover everything with wild fantasies. However, as he grew older, his fantasies were gradually replaced by reality .
In his artwork, Reretan wishes to find that forgotten kaleidoscope, that has been categorized as foreign, through the eyes of a child so pure it blurs the boundaries between nature, civilization, races, etc., and explore the most primitive instincts of human beings.
Rainbow Bridge
The special feature of the Rainbow Bridge is that the exterior has traditional accessories of the Paiwan and Rukai people. In addition, the bridge is named after the Bunun word for rainbow, "Hanivalval", which symbolizes connection and relationship.
